The Snow Biome introduces a variety of new items, entities, and structures for players to explore. Key additions include the Ice Sword, wildlife such as the Arctic Fox and Polar Bear, and structures like the Warm Clothing Cabin and Ice Temple.
Biome Features
Upon entering the Snow Biome, players are immersed in a snowy environment featuring white terrain, snow-covered trees, and ice spikes. Exposure to the cold is represented by the freeze meter, which gradually depletes over time. If the freeze meter empties, players are unable to run, making them vulnerable to hostile entities and potential death.
Players can craft specialized items at the Warm Clothing Cabin to slow the depletion of the freeze meter. These items allow longer sprints and make navigating the Snow Biome safer and more manageable.
Glitches
- After the Meteor Update, the Warm Clothing Cabin often spawns far from the Campfire.
- In some instances, the Warm Clothing Cabin may fail to spawn entirely within the Snow Biome.
