- No Seeds Required: In the current version of the game, you do not need to find seeds.1 Once you place a Farm Plot, the growth process begins automatically.
- Randomized Harvest: Every plot has a randomized chance to grow one of three crops: Carrots, Pumpkins, or Corn.
- Corn Probability: There is approximately a 30% chance per plot to yield Corn.
- Maximizing Yield: * To ensure you get Corn quickly, build at least 5 to 10 Farm Plots. This increases your statistical chance of getting multiple Corn stalks simultaneously.
Method 2: Finding Corn in “The Maze”
If you don’t want to wait for crops to grow, you can scavenge for wild Corn.
- Location: Locate the Carnival/Circus biome on the map. Near this area, you will find a Wooden Maze.
- The Scavenge Trick: Inside the Maze, Corn grows naturally in small patches near the center and the corners.
- Respawn Rate: Wild Corn in the Maze respawns every 3 in-game days.
- Warning: The Maze is a high-danger zone. The Owl frequently patrols the skies above the Maze, so keep a roof over your head or move quickly.
Method 3: The Biofuel Trick
Once you have Corn, its most valuable use isn’t just eating—it’s the Biofuel Processor.
- Recipe: 1x Corn + 1x Rotten Meat = 1x Biofuel.
- Benefit: One Biofuel keeps your campfire at Max Intensity for 5 minutes, regardless of weather conditions or fuel level. This is the “Pro Strategy” for surviving the harder raides after Night 50.
