Items are the various objects players can find, craft, or trade for in 99 Nights in the Forest. They are fundamental to Survival and progression, covering everything from raw materials and Tools to Weapons and food. Effectively gathering and managing items is a core part of the gameplay loop. Items can be acquired by Looting Points of Interest, harvesting from the environment, defeating hostile Fauna or Cultists, or trading with NPCs. All items are stored in the player’s Inventory, which has a limited capacity determined by the type of Sack equipped.
