Behavior
Awakening
At the start of a night, there is a chance for a short cutscene featuring The Ram to play. After this cutscene, the following message will appear:
“The Ram has woken up”
Once this cutscene has ended, The Ram becomes able to spawn. If The Ram appears during the night, The Deer will not spawn, unless there is a Cultist Attack happening on the same night.
Encounter
The Ram behaves similarly to The Deer, chasing the player throughout the night. Occasionally, it will stop moving and begin preparing to charge, indicated by a rising meter. Once the meter is full, it will rush forward, destroying trees and dealing damage to any players in its path. The direction The Ram faces while preparing to charge does not always indicate the direction it will actually charge.

Like The Deer and The Owl, The Ram cannot be killed, even while charging. However, it can be stunned using a campfire or a flashlight when it is walking, but it is completely immune to stuns while charging.
To avoid being hit by the charge, players must move to the left or right, as The Ram has a poor turning radius while charging.
The Ram is a hostile entity, making running away challenging. Similar to The Deer, The Ram walks slower than the player, and the player can outrun it while sprinting. However, during a charge, The Ram moves much faster than a sprinting player, making dodging essential.

Locations
The Ram does not appear in fixed locations. Instead, it can spawn randomly during the night.
Trivia
- The Ram deals the least damage without its charge when compared to The Deer and The Owl.
- While charging, The Ram is capable of knocking down trees.
- It is unclear whether The Ram is based on a regular male sheep or a male bighorn sheep.
- In the Volcanic Biome Update II image and the game’s thumbnail, The Ram has a grey color scheme, which differs from its in-game appearance of black horns, a cream-colored snout, and brown fur.
- Many players expect The Ram to receive a buff in an upcoming update due to how easy it is to deal with in its current state.
- The Ram will likely only spawn when the Volcanic Biome is present, given its connection to that biome.
- In the teaser image titled “something is coming”, The Ram’s pose resembles the urban legend creature known as the Goatman.
